Q: What is the size or time limit
for the videos?
A:
There's a five-minute limit for the videos. By July 2007 you
will have the ability to upload videos with longer lengths.
Q: Why was I contacted to post my
videos with you?
A:
If you were contacted by someone from FLOW Network Productions,
it's because your work is original (not copies of other people's
work, broadcasts, or TV productions) and of excellent quality. We have talent
scouts who look at videos posted on other websites and video
sharing sites. If they like what they see, they'll invite
you in. To date, there have been less than 100 invitations
issued by our talent scouts. So if you received one of them, you can consider
it a compliment. Your videos are fresh and unique
and, as a result, you deserve to be paid for them! To

Q: How much money will I make?
A:
You will receive a percentage of the advertising revenue that is
received each time your video is viewed. The amount of
advertising revenue varies, but you can expect to receive
between $1.00 - $14.00 per 1,000 views. (If you're not a
math wiz, that's $1,000 - $14,000 for a million views.) The top Show
Director right now is making about $15,000 per month. (Of
course there are no guarantees -- it depends on how good your
videos are and how popular we can make them.)
Q: Which videos get the highest
rates and most revenue from the advertisers?
A:
Advertisers will generally pay higher rates for three things --
quality, popularity, and demographics. The videos that are
the highest quality -- fresh, unique, creative, with audio and
visual clarity -- will generally attract the higher paying
sponsors. Advertisers will also pay higher rates for
videos that are popular and for video makers who have a large
subscription base. Most importantly, each video will
appeal to a certain type of audience. If an advertiser
wants to reach that audience, they will pay more to do so.
If you want to encourage higher paying advertisers for your
videos, create good quality, build your network of subscribers
and friends, and know your niche!
Q: How often will I get paid?
A:
You can request payment whenever there is at least $50.00 in
your account.
Q: By what method will I get
paid?
A:
You will be paid by check, which will be sent to the address you

Q: Why should I move my videos
from YouTube, Yahoo, Google, or any other video hosting site?
A:
You don't have to pull your videos off of any of those sites.
If you get benefits from publicity, by all means post your
videos in as many places as possible! But if you'd like to
ALSO generate some revenue in addition to gaining internet notoriety, then you
can let FLOW Network Productions help you create you a show that will be
monetized by advertisers. (By the way... that's how
the other video hosting sites make their money... they get
paid advertising money every time somebody views your video.
How much of the advertising revenue they made from your video
views did they share with you? We'll give you your fair
share!)
Q: When I upload a video, who
owns the video?
A:
If the video is your original creation, you retain complete
ownership of the content and you can change it or remove it at
any time. Any video you upload, though, can be shared and
posted on other websites and blogs (similar to how videos are
shared on YouTube) so you might see your videos popping up all
over the internet.
Q: What will you do with my
registration information?
A:
We don't share or sell your information at all for any reason.
There's not much advantage to a company to sell information
unless they really don't have anything to offer. We do have
something to offer. And so do you. So we have many reasons NOT
to share you with anyone else.
Q: Where will my videos be
hosted?
A:
Once approved, you will get your own Show page hosted on
vidShadow.com. You could upload your videos on that site right
now, but you won't get paid until you get
approved as a Show Director. That's where we come in. We're
the talent scouts for VidShadow. And since we've already seen
your videos and like them, we can push your approval through pretty
fast. We'll set up your show page for you, and then we'll also
start giving your videos some publicity. Because when you make
money, WE make money!
